A 42-year-old man and 40-year-old woman were arrested yesterday after being found in possession of £60K worth of cannabis and £1.5K in cash in a vehicle on M60
The car was spotted by an off duty Road Policing Unit officer who noticed a vehicle driving in a suspicious manner on the M60 motorway close to Junction 6 at Trafford.
The officer subsequently signalled the driver to stop the vehicle.
A 42-year-old man and 40-year-old woman were arrested at the scene for possession of cannabis with intent to supply, possession of mephedrone with intent to supply and possession of a cocaine.
They remain in custody for further questioning.
