The M6 southbound remains shut this morning between Junctions 27 and 26 after an incident in which a person has reportedly fallen from a bridge
GMP Traffic Police posted on X this morning
“We’re responding to reports of a person falling from a bridge on the M6 between J27 & J26 southbound. The road is closed while emergency services attend and significant delays are expected in the area for the immediate future. Thank you for your patience at this time.”
It is at the moment uncertain when the Motorway will reopen however Closure is expected to remain in place throughout the morning for complex investigation works.
