you’re looking for the perfect place to impress your date this Valentine’s Day, there cannot be anywhere more impressive in Greater Manchester than a venue that’s located within the walls of a Victorian-Gothic, Grade-1 listed masterpiece.
Recently restored to its full historic grandeur, Rochdale Town Hall – a northern architectural gem dripping with old-world ornate glamour – will transform any date night into a true fairytale. The hall boasts stunning stained-glass windows, intricate and ornate architecture, sweeping staircases and wood-paneled walls, making it the ideal location for a very memorable evening.
The Martlet Kitchen is the critically acclaimed eatery nestled within the splendour of this beautiful building. It offers fine dining, afternoon tea and an array of cocktails that use locally distilled spirits making it perfect for any Valentine’s – or Galentine’s – occasion.
Fine dining with the wow factor
For those looking for fine dining for the ultimate impressive date night, The Martlet’s menu changes regularly based on the chef’s selection and available local and seasonal produce.
