Baroness Casey, who led the Government’s grooming gangs audit which was published yesterday has said that there were attempts to cover up ethnicity relating to grooming gang cases in Rotherham a decade ago.

Meanwhile speaking to the Home Affairs Committee she labelled the lack of complete ethnicity data as a “bloody disaster” saying the failure to do so was a “public irresponsibility”.

She told MPs: “I feel very strongly on issues that are as searing as people’s race, when we know the prejudice and racism that people of colour experience in this country, to not get how you treat that data right is a different level of public irresponsibility.

Meanwhile in a shocking  moment Louise Casey told that MPs people still are not looking “hard enough” to search out child sexual exploitation.
