Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have today announced that they will resume their flights and holidays programme to Cyprus from 17th August, meaning UK holidaymakers can escape to the Cypriot sunshine for the first time since March.
The leading leisure airline and package holiday specialist will recommence its flights and holidays programme to Larnaca on 17th August. The company has almost 40,000 seats on sale to Larnaca this summer, with flights departing from eight UK bases – Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle.
The company also resumes flights and holidays to Paphos on 18th August. For Summer 20, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have 45,000 seats on sale to Paphos with flights departing from eight UK bases – Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle.
The UK’s second-largest tour operator has reported increased demand to Cyprus, showing how much holidaymakers want to get away for their much needed and well-deserved holidays. Customers are currently required to provide a negative Covid-19 test upon arrival, obtained within 72 hours of travel.
The ongoing uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic means that the company has made some adjustments to its flying programme to Cyprus, however, there is still plenty of choice and flexibility in response to the demand.
Where customers have been affected by any programme changes, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have been repeatedly recognised for looking after customers during the pandemic, offering the option to rebook with no admin fee, a Refund Credit Note or a full cash refund, and customers will continue to receive this same level of VIP service.
