Former United player Christiano Ronaldo has told how much he loves the club but compared it to an aquarium which makes its fish sick
Speaking at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai he spoke of the new manager Ruben Amorim:
“He did a fantastic job in Portugal with my club Sporting”.
“But the Premier League is a different beast, it’s a different league, it’s the most competitive league in the world”.
Ronaldo added that
“I knew it would be tough and they would continue the storm, but the storm will finish and the sun will rise”.
“Fingers crossed things will be good with him and I hope the best for Man United because this is a club I still LOVE”.
The former player who left the club in 2022 did however reserve some criticism for the club comparing United to an aquarium that will continue making its fish sick adding
If I was owner of the club I would make things clear and adjust what I think is bad there. I am still very young and have so many plans and dreams ahead, but mark my words I will be the owner of a big club, for sure.”
