The vegetarian Restaurant Greens in Didsbury is to close its doors after thirty three years
Owner Simon Rimmer blamed the rise in rental costs and of raw material in a post shared on social media
Rimmer said that the landlord had increased the rent by thirty five per cent and rises in raw materials,energy costs and wages had made the business in his words unviable
He said that the restaurant would close with immediate effect describing this as a heartbreaking day and thanking the staff and customers for their support
