This September, audiences in the UK will witness a rare cultural occasion: the arrival of Legacy of the Maestros™. The two-city concert series, taking place in Manchester and London, will celebrate one of the greatest living exponents of Indian classical music, Ustad Shujaat Husain Khan.

Presented by Pinro Media Ltd, this elegant and intimate musical experience will take place in Manchester on Sunday 7th September 2025 at the  Royal Northern College of Music Theatre

A Grammy-nominated sitar virtuoso, Shujaat Khan is the son of the legendary Ustad Vilayat Khan and the seventh-generation torchbearer of the Imdadkhani Gharana. He is globally revered for his emotionally resonant performances and mastery of the gayaki ang style — a technique that gives the sitar the expressive nuance of the human voice.

From Carnegie Hall to Royal Festival Hall, Ustad Shujaat Khan has captivated international audiences with a sound that transcends borders and speaks directly to the soul. With Legacy of the  Maestros™, he brings this tradition to life in the UK once more, inviting listeners into a world of lineage, introspection, and musical storytelling.

Commenting on the upcoming event, Ustad Shujaat Husain Khan said: “In every raga, there is a memory — not just of notes, but of generations. I don’t perform to impress, I perform to feel. And I hope the audience feels it too.”

This exclusive concert series is positioned not only as a performance, but as a cultural experience that reflects centuries of musical mastery and opens a space for contemplation, elegance, and legacy.

Tickets start at £40, with limited premium seats available. Audiences are advised to reserve early, as both performances are expected to sell out.
