North-west based social enterprise, Girls Out Loud, is to collaborate with UK fashion brand, Never Fully Dressed, to help fund the vital mentorship of teen girls in the region and raise awareness of the issues they face every day.

NFD have joined up with Girls Out Loud to release some T-Shirts emblazoned with the empowering message YOU GO GIRL and have committed to donating £5 for every T shirt sold to the social enterprise over the coming months to help save a young girls life.

Girls Out Loud, is dedicated to raising the aspirations and empowering teenage girls in the UK. Passionate about embedding more confidence, emotional resilience, self-assurance and self-esteem, their programmes lead to aspiration, real change and long-lasting success.

The non-profit’s ‘Big Sister Programme’ recruits, selects, trains and supports women from all walks of life including the corporate sector, entrepreneurs and the public sector and everything in between, to step up and become mentors to middle girls who are often in danger of becoming invisible and the work that they do across the region is more vital now than ever before.

Jane Kenyon, founder of Girls Out Loud, said, “We’re absolutely thrilled to be collaborating with NFD and show off the T Shirts far and wide.

The current pandemic has had a huge impact on the mental health and wellbeing of the next generation, and we’re committed to changing this and helping vulnerable teenage girls in any way that we can.

While there’s more demand for our work than ever before, school budgets for external intervention have virtually disappeared and we rely on the support of companies like Never Full Dressed to allow us to continue inspiring, educating and lifting up young, vulnerable girls to create the leaders and brilliant women of the future.”
