The funerals of the Oldham cousins Zaneta Krokova, 11, and Helina Kotlarova, 12, who were killed crossing the road hand in hand on New Year’s Eve will be held today.
The funeral service will be held at St Paul’s C of E on Ashton Road following which a procession will leave the church from around 12.30pm onwards.
The procession will, at walking pace, make its way down Nield Street, Copsterhill Road, Hollins Road, Limeside Road before finishing at the Oldham Crematorium on Roman Road.
Four men are still in custody over the hit and run.Gabor Hegedus, 38, faces charges including causing death by dangerous driving and driving without a licence.
Three other men have been charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
