A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of 16-year-old Rhamero West from South Manchester, who was killed after being stabbed on the street in Trafford last September.

A16-year-old-boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, Xavier Wynter aged 18 of no fixed abode  and Ryan Cashin,19, of Nancy Street, Manchester, have already been charged with Rhamero’s murder and have been remanded in custody to appear at a future date.

Detective Chief Inspector Liz Hopkinson, from GMP’s Major Incident Team, said: “As always our thoughts remain with Rhamero’s family as they process this incredibly difficult loss.

“This fourth arrests highlights the dedication and hard work of our officers who have been thoroughly investigating every single line of enquiry and gathering evidence in order to find answers for Rhamero’s family and make sure those responsible face justice.”
