Four people were arrested in early morning raids in Harpurhey today

A man in his 30s arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and a man in his 60s was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.

A man in his 20s arrested on suspicion of possession of class B drugs with intent to supply and a man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs

Inspector Dan Pickavance, from the Harpurhey team, said: “Anti-social behaviour can cause a whole range of issues for local communities and I want local residents to know that we do listen, we do review, and we will act. If you have nightmare neighbours, people causing a constant nuisance, or feel like you have a problem in your own area, please do get in touch with us, as we are determined to clamp down where we can.

“Officers in the Harpurhey area are constantly building intelligence to ensure that those responsible for crimes are punished appropriately, and we ask that you please assist us as we continue to tackle anti-social behaviour.
