Fire crews have been tackling a blaze overnight on Marsden Moor
At its height, 10 pumps plus specialist wildfire units are tackling a fire with a 1 mile flame front on the Moor. Crews are also using blowers and beaters to tackle the fire.
Local residents were being advised to keep their doors/windows closed.
The fire comes after several weeks of dry weather which have left the moors surrounding Greater Manchester tinderbox dry.
