A drone operator has been found guilty of endangering an aircraft, after he was caught flying his drone over 4 times the legal height limit at 1600ft, and almost colliding with a police helicopter.
This week the operator received a community order with a tagged curfew, and ordered to pay court courts.
“Endagering an aircraft is a serious offence and will be dealt with seriously by the courts.”said Manchester Airport in a statement
“If you fly or own a drone, it is your responsiblity to make sure all flights are safe and legal.”
