The number of hospital deaths from those who have tested positive for Coronavirus stands at 11,329 an increase across the UK of 717 recorded in the last twenty four hours.

As of 9am this morning, 367,667 tests have concluded, with 14,506 tests yesterday.

290,720 people have been tested of which 88,621 tested positive.

In today’s Downing Street briefing, a spokesman told the lobby that the number of people being tested for coronavirus is running at 18,000 a day.

At the same briefing, it was revealed that The cabinet may not be involved in the decision on extending the lockdown. A decision has to be taken by Thursday, which is when the regulations covering England need to be reviewed. All the indications are that it will need to continue to at least the end of April
