Raise a glass to the special man in your life this Father’s Day with a complimentary beer or glass of Prosecco at First Street Bar & Kitchen, at INNSiDE Manchester.
The celebratory treat is available when dining at the premium Italian restaurant on June 19, with a set menu featuring the finest seasonal ingredients introduced especially for the occasion.
Choose from five signature starters including arancini; Parma ham bruschetta; calamari; tomato bruschetta (ve); and king prawn bruschetta, before savouring one of Gino’s classic mains – ribeye steak (225g) with peppercorn sauce (£5.50 supplement); sea bass with Italian salsa and lemon; chicken breast in a lemon and caper sauce and served with green beans, parsley and garlic; fettuccine with sausage, leek, white wine and porcini mushroom cream; and creamy risotto with asparagus, peas and dolcelatte cheese (v). All main courses are served with fries and mixed salad to share.
A generous selection of desserts complete the set menu including panna cotta with amaretto; tiramisú – the ultimate Italian dessert; Chocolate fondant stuffed with chocolate truffles and vanilla ice cream (v); and gelato – a selection of ice cream and sorbets, served with a homemade hazelnut and pistachio cantuccini biscuit (v).
For guests that prefer to stick with Sunday tradition, two Sunday roasts are available for a £2.95 supplement, including slow roast beef, cut from 28 days aged Aberdeen angus beef rump and seasoned with garlic and thyme; and lemon and rosemary herb roast chicken. Both are served with golden roast potatoes, vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and gravy.
The set menu is available at £35pp and sits alongside the main a-la-carte menu.
Those who want to truly spoil their dad are invited to wrap their meal with a glass of something special in the restaurant’s beautiful lounge bar, with a resident DJ adding to the atmosphere at weekends.
First Street Bar & Kitchen is located at INNSiDE Manchester. The restaurant is open for breakfast from 6.30am to 10am Monday to Friday, and 7am to 11am Saturday and Sunday, reopening for lunch and dinner, from 12pm to 11.00pm every day.
