A car driver remains in a critical condition in hospital after a three car smash in Bolton last night
The collision happened around 9pm on Halliwell Road.
A vehicle travelling along Halliwell Road towards Moss Bank Way is believed to have collided with a second vehicle turning onto Halliwell Road, and a third stationary, unoccupied vehicle.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving. He remains in police custody for questioning.
