Californian punk outfit SWMRS are heading back to the UK this November for a string of headline dates. The tour kicks off on Tuesday 19th November at Night & Day in Manchester
SWMRS are more than just a band; they’re a family. Formed by singer/guitarists Max and Cole Becker when they were teenagers, the band has cultivated a dedicated fanbase over the years with their infectious energy, catchy punk anthems, and explosive live shows. In 2022, the group’s sound and spirit were invigorated when their younger brother Cade joined on bass. This fraternal bond is now a cornerstone of the SWMRS experience, making their live shows an electrifying celebration of family, music, and good times.
Since their 2016 debut album, “Drive North,” SWMRS have carved their own path in the punk scene. They’ve shared stages with legends like Muse, Blink-182, and Cage the Elephant, and racked up international acclaim. They’ve brought their high-octane live show to festivals like Reading & Leeds (UK), Summer Sonic (Japan), Riot Fest (US), and Parklive (Ukraine). Their 2019 sophomore album, “Berkeley’s on Fire,” garnered critical praise which saw them crowned “Best International Newcomer” at the Kerrang! Awards. Their latest album, “Sonic Tonic,” released in late 2023, is a self-released collection that captures the band’s raw energy and infectious songwriting.
