Manchester’s iconic pet-friendly hotel, Kimpton Clocktower Hotel has today announced a new special package for Bonfire night, allowing pet owners and their four-legged family members to minimise the stress of the fireworks season.

The hotel already offers a Paw-fect stay package all year round, which includes any dog staying at no extra cost, plus a pet tuckbox, a guide to the best dog-friendly places in the city and a toy waiting for them in the room. Starting from 1st November, pet owners will be able to check in and enjoy a luxury hamper including Pet Remedy’s Party Season Survival Kit together with a Calming Spray, Plug Diffuser, and Calming Wipes.

The upgraded Paw-fect stay set to get tails wagging has been designed specifically for this time of year, when fireworks can work as a stressor and twice as many dogs go missing.*

Martyn Barklett-Judge, Managing Director at Pet Remedy, said: “Dog’s wellbeing is a priority for us at Pet Remedy, and we’re proud to be partnering with Kimpton Clocktower for the second time. We’d love to help however we can, so their four-legged guests can stay calm and feel safe over the fireworks and party season. Fireworks can be extremely stressful for our pets, so giving them a safe and secure space (like a room at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel) is the first step to helping them cope.”

Pet Remedy Natural Calming products are fast acting so can help immediately in stressful situations such as fireworks. If used regularly, the products can also help build your pet’s emotional resilience, making them more able to deal with day-to-day challenges and stressful events in the future.

Dog owners can also take advantage of the hotel’s Music Concierge service, which allows guests to request a record player and vinyls to be placed in the room ahead of check in. Classical and relaxing music records will be available, to help distract anxious pets from the noise of Bonfire Night celebrations.

David Lockhart, general manager at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, said: “We like to think of Kimpton Clocktower Hotel as the home-away-from-home for our guests, and our top priority is always making sure everyone is feeling safe and comfortable. We can’t wait to welcome our November guests and help them care for their four-legged family members, giving them everything they need – from calming scents in the room to a doggy roast dinner served in Refuge.”

Pets can also visit the award-winning The Refuge Bar and Restaurant, which serves a carefully curated drinks menu, as well as dog treats and doggy Sunday roasts all Sunday.

Guests at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel can request the Bonfire Night Escape package via the hotel concierge or by emailing manchesterreservations@ihg.com to book.
