Bolton-based Handrail Creations, the UK’s leading handrails and balustrades specialist, has reported a 20% year-on-year increase in orders since opening its new factory doors in June 2025.
The third quarter of 2025 saw the company’s highest sales quarter since inception, taking on 130 new projects totalling over £1million – a 20% increase from the previous year. Approximately 50% of handrail and balustrade projects included installation, spanning super prime residential properties, listed buildings, office fit-outs, and specialist machining services.
The growth coincides with Handrail Creations’s move to a new factory in June 2025, where over £500,000 was invested to refurbish the entire building – including a new roof, substation, re-wiring the entire factory, knocking walls through, and installing new kitchens and bathrooms. Handrail Creations endeavoured to create a space that can facilitate additional projects, including those with more complexity.
The new factory also made room for upgraded facilities and machinery. Handrail Creations installed additional CNC machines, larger and more advanced spray facilities and metalwork areas, and a state-of-the-art dust extraction system.
Handrail Creations left no stone unturned; even the office spaces have been upgraded, now open plan working spaces that bring the outdoors in – with masses of natural lighting and plants to create an inviting environment. Handrail Creations are also expanding the team – recruiting for new staff in all departments to prepare for orders in 2026 and beyond.
