Arooj Shah has been elected as new Labour group leader in Oldham and thus the new leader of the Council.
Arooj was previously leader in 2021-22, but lost her seat last year.
She takes over the leadership from Amanda Chadderton who lost her seat by 21 votes in Royton South last Thursday
