Bringing a celebration of global cuisine and craftmanship to the centre of Stockport, visitors are invited to experience a world of flavours and artistry at Merseyway’s first ever International Food & Craft Market.

Hosted in collaboration with the UK’’s leading operator of continental and special event markets, Market Place Europe, Merseyway is bringing a weekend of food to the town centre, featuring an eclectic range of street vendors, arts and crafts.

Open daily from 9am – 5pm, discover dishes from every corner of the world, from traditional hog roasts and fiery curries to wok favourites and Caribbean creations. For those with a sweet tooth, cheesecakes, fudge and sweets will also be available, while shoppers can browse a selection of unique gifts from artisan traders, with everything from handcrafted marble chess sets, bath bombs, fashion pieces, accessories and more.

Victoria Nichol, Merseyway Centre Manager said “Stockport has a fantastic reputation when it comes to championing all things food and drink and the town truly is in for a real treat this weekend! This event will showcase fantastic cuisine from small businesses whilst bringing something different into Merseyway. We’re really excited about this weekend-long event and encourage everyone to come down and try something new!”.
