Altrincham-based, LoveRaw, the UK’s fastest growing plant-based chocolate brand, has secured its biggest ever listing with three of its products now available in 1,800 Tesco stores.
From 7th November, LoveRaw’s M:lk Choc Wafer, White Choc Wafer and M:ik Choc Peanut Butter Cups will be available nationally across Tesco Express and Tesco Extra stores, priced at £1.49 or part of a £3.90 Tesco Meal Deal (£3.40 for Tesco Clubcard members).
It is the first time LoveRaw products have been available as part of a Meal Deal, which the company hopes will help it reach millions of new consumers wanting to try their range of vegan chocolate for themselves.
The Tesco listing follows a year of significant growth for LoveRaw. The brand is also breaking ground internationally, having secured listings with French supermarket chain Franprix in Paris, as well as listings with IGA Supermarket in Australia and Kesko in Finland.
LoveRaw employ 20 people and was founded by Rimi Thapar who started making vegan snack bars in her Cheshire garage with a budget of £600 in 2013. Now she sells LoveRaw products to Waitrose, Co-Op, Whole Foods and other major retailers and convenience stores.
