A Taste of Honey, the Didsbury based Deli on Burton Road, will be live streaming a jazz band performance on Thursday 16th April to raise money for the NHS.

The performance will be live streamed from 7.30pm to finish just before 8pm ahead of the weekly big clap to honour NHS workers.

Viewers will be able to tune into the performance via the A Taste of Honey Facebook page, where there will be an option to donate to the NHS.

The locally known jazz band, The Easy Rollers, will perform a number of classics to boost morale and bring isolation entertainment,  taking viewers back to the golden age of jazz, during the unprecedented times of COVID-19 lockdown.

Outside of lockdown, The Easy Rollers are a roaring seven-piece jazz band performing hits from the speakeasy bars of the Prohibition era, based in Manchester.

A Taste of Honey has scheduled the performance in line with government guidelines of social distancing with the band coming from the same household.

The performance will be live from 7.30pm at @tasteofhoneym20 on Facebook.

The Easy Rollers released their debut EP in 2017 and are currently working towards recording a full-length album in the coming months. For more information, visit www.theeasyrollers.co.uk
