A 30 year old Bury has been jailed after being found guilty of two counts of rape.
Joseph Yuen of Bournville Drive, Bury was sentenced to 10 years in prison after the rape was reported to police as a non-recent offence in January 2021, with offences occurring in the months prior to this.
The victim was routinely raped, often when she was intoxicated and woke up to the offence taking place.
In later text conversations between the offender and victim, Yuen made incriminating text admissions to some offences where he apologised for what he did.
