A 65-year-old man who was subjected to serious injuries and remains in a critical condition after being assaulted at Stockport Interchange yesterday evening
No arrests have been made at this time, but patrols remain in place whilst officers continue to track those down responsible following extensive enquiries since the report was received.
Detective Inspector Shifa Chowdhury from our Stockport district said; “This is a sickening attack by what we believe was by two teenagers which left the victim who was defenceless with serious injury.
“We are now in a position to appeal to the public as we know members of the community were in the area at the time and witnessed what happened.
