A 56-year-old man remains in critical condition after being hit by a car in Stockport last night
A 41-year-old woman has been arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by carless driving after the car she was driving hit the man on Old Chapel Street near to the junction of St Matthews Road in Edgeley around 10pm
Enquiries are ongoing at this stage.
GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam or mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
