A man has been charged over an incident in Salford on Tuesday evening in which a large-scale disturbance took place following an alleged party which spilled into Romney Street
Roy Leader aged 54 of Littleton Road, Salford has been charged with possessing an offensive weapon, affray and racially aggravated offences under the Public Order Act.
He has been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Wednesday 16 April 2025.
An investigation is ongoing into the circumstances, with detectives working with Salford Council to understand the use of the property.
