A 32-year-old man remains in a critical life-threatening condition after an assault in Rusholme just after midnight this morning
The incident happened on Walmer Street East and Wilmslow Road
No arrests have been made at this time.
Detective Inspector Natalie McDonald from Central division said; “We are still in our early stages but want to appeal to people who were in the vicinity of the busy area last night to help us in our enquiries.
“A man is currently still receiving treatment for serious injuries following an assault and we want to see if any outstanding footage can be obtained, whether CCTV or doorbell or dashcam.
