A 25 year old man has been charged with rape after an incident at a Salford retail park over the weekend.
John Hawkins, 25, of Manchester Road, Westhoughton, has been charged with one count of rape and will appear at Manchester & Salford Magistrates Court today
His appearance follows a report of a rape of a woman in her 20s near to Regent retail park, Salford early on Sunday morning.
The victim is being supported by specially trained officers.
