A nineteen year old man has been charged with Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) after a woman was assaulted over a year ago
Thomas Heffron of Rochdale Road, Shaw,has been bailed and will appear at Tameside Magistrates Court on 12 February 2026.
Detective Constable, Kirstie Masterton, said: “We have undertaken multiple enquiries over the last year, and I am glad that we have now been able to secure a charge following an extensive investigation.
“Information provided by the public has been invaluable in helping us piece together what happened.
“We encourage anyone with any further information to please get in touch”.
