A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision following an incident on Drake Street in Rochdale yesterday evening
During routine stop by officers, his vehicle made off and collided with numerous other vehicles as police gave chase
The suspected driver made off and a passenger in the vehicle sustained serious, life-threatening injuries.
One person from another vehicle received minor injuries.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have dash cam to please come forward.
