Police say A Vauxhall Zafira was reported to have hit the pedestrian as she attempted to cross the road at the roundabout connecting Falinge Road and Sheriff Street shortly before 4pm
A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of serious injury by dangerous driving and drug driving and remains in police custody at this time.
