The U.K. economy grew by 0.7 percent in the first three months of 2025, according to Office for National Statistics released this morning
The figures were better than those forecast with Services up 0.7 per cent and production up 1.1 per cent however construction at 9.0 per cent was flat.
The Chancellor Rachel Reeves wrote on X
“Today’s growth figures show the strength and potential of the UK economy. Against a backdrop of global uncertainty we are making the right choices in the national interest.
But there is more to do, we will go further and faster to make working people better off.”
