President Trump has agreed to cut tariffs on U.K. autos, steel and aluminum in a planned trade deal with Britain, which would see the U.K. buy more American beef and streamline its customs process for goods from the United States.

The 25% tax on British steel cut to zero while car tariffs have been cut to 10%

However Donald Trump has admitted that  his “huge trade deal” with the UK is not finalized yet and instead is only a concept of a plan.

Trump said the deal would remake the global trading system even though he admitted that “The final details are being written up in the coming weeks.”

Under the agreement the UK could send 100,000 cars to the US at a tariff rate of just 10 per cent.

In a transatlantic call Sir Keir Starmer said “this is a really fantastic, historic day” as he spoke to US President Donald Trump about a trade deal

The deal will also see the U.K. agreeing to accept 13,000 tonnes of tariff-free American beef with the same amount going in the other direction

The U.K. has also agreed to purchase $10 billion-worth of Boeing planes,
