The Met Office has this morning updated its forecast with two amber warnings issued for the Greater Manchester region
An amber warning for snow from 6pm tomorrow until midday on Sunday while a an amber warning for snow and ice has been issued from 9.00pm on Saturday until midnight on Sunday evening
The warning says there could be power cuts, travel disruption and some rural communities could be cut off.
