Police are appealing for any witnesses after an incident yesterday afternoon which saw a knife being used involving two 14-year-old boys.
The incident happened around 4.00pm on Kingsway in Burnage
Thankfully no serious injuries were suffered at the time by one of them, which wasn’t life-threatening or life changing.
No arrests have been made at this time but an investigation is ongoing.
Detective Inspector John Robb of our City of Manchester South district said; “We understand the concern this incident will raise but we are conducting active enquiries into this to ensure we can provide the appropriate safeguards to the local community.
“We are now in a position to appeal to the public in the immediate area for additional details as we understand it occurred in broad daylight during a busy period.
