The Bury Black Pudding Company has been producing black pudding for generations, staying true to a time-honoured recipe and production methods while adapting to the evolving tastes of modern consumers with chilli, vegetarian and gluten free alternatives.

As one of the longest standing traders on Bury Market, The Bury Black Pudding Company produces its famous recipe which dates back over 100 years. What started as a small butchers and stall has today grown into a British Heritage brand employing over 110 amazing local staff to produce over 100 tonnes of black pudding each week at the factory based in the heart of Bury – equivalent to 435,000 slice packs a week.

Matthew McDermid, Brand and Marketing Manager at The Bury Black Pudding Company said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the heritage and passion that goes into making our black pudding. We are incredibly proud of our history and our role in bringing this traditional product to consumers, we can’t wait for the nation to see how the UK’s leading brand of black pudding is made.”

Black pudding and Bury have been synonymous for over a century. Recognised as the nation’s number one black pudding, the company has built its reputation on quality, tradition and innovation.
