17 Manchester pubs are taking part in Craft Union’s nationwide 10,000 free pint giveaway next Wednesday to celebrate the pub company’s 10th anniversary.
The pubco will also be donating 10p per drink sold to over 600 local causes up and down the country, which is set to raise an anticipated £20,000. While one lucky punter will also leave their local £10,000 richer.
Every pint purchased on the day will come with a QR code giving guests the chance to enter the big birthday giveaway. The winner will be contacted the following day — so all it takes is one pint to be in with a shot!
Since Craft Union opened its first site back in 2015, the Market Tavern in Stoke-on-Trent, the pubco has grown from strength to strength. Fast forward ten years, and the total amount of Craft Union pubs now stands at a huge 637, with this number only set to grow higher.
Frazer Grimbleby, Managing Director at Craft Union, said:
“We’re proud to be marking our 10th anniversary with three initiatives to give back to our guests as a thank you for how they have supported Craft Union over the last decade.
“We’re delighted to have raised more than one million pounds for local causes in the last 12 months, and we are incredibly grateful to our guests for their unwavering support and enthusiasm in raising funds for charities – so what better way to show our appreciation than a drink on us!
