Manchester Central Library, known as the “jewel in the crown” of  the city’s libraries, will be holding a series of fun-filled events in honour of its historic 90th anniversary.  Summer Celebrations will mean library-goers can prepare to bask in all things books through learning about the historical odes to the city and taking in heart-stopping romance fiction.

There will also be magical story times with the Blue Peter Book Club and timeless look back through special archive material.  Featuring authors such as Joseph Coelho, the Children’s Laureate, and audience-grabbing performances from the Royal Northern College of Music.
