The StretFest’ is returning to Stretford on Saturday 1 March 2025 and has now confirmed the headline events that will take place on the day.

A focal point of the festival is the celebration of the 10th anniversary of Stretford Public Hall’s transfer into community ownership. Friends of Stretford Public Hall will be hosting their birthday celebration throughout the day, centered on a cake cutting celebration at 2pm with a singalong from Stretford Uke and live music from Thingumabob and the Thingumajigs and Batala Manchester.  Into the evening, the Hall will be hosting an array of DJs curated by Nite School – an inclusive Manchester club night.

Serving as a key hub for the festival, the Mall will be hosting their popular monthly event, Stretford Socials from 12-4pm.  The Socials will showcase an array of stalls featuring talented local makers, bakers, and community groups. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of free, family-friendly activities that promise fun for all ages. The Mall will also be playing host to another surprise offering from the team at Rainy Heart – Stretford town centre’s pop-up listening bar.

Victoria Park will once again be involved, showing a series of family films celebrating the start of Spring, alongside craft activities and an array of refreshments from The Tea Rooms. More fun for the family can be found at Stretford Library with storytimes, poetry workshops, crafts and reading groups.
