Stockport is guaranteed a weekend full of delicious celebrations this week as the Full Moon Festival returns to Merseyway bigger, brighter and better than ever before!

Hosted by Stockport & Salford Hongkongers Community Interest Group and Yellow Economic Circle Manchester in collaboration with Merseyway Shopping Centre, the Full Moon Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, celebrates Hong Kong culture with traditional events, including long-established rituals and exciting family-friendly activities.

Known as one of the most important festivals for Hongkongers, the two-day celebration will take place from September 14th – 15th, featuring an incredible line-up of over 15 Hong Kong street food stalls and 25 makers markets, as well as an abundance of free entertainment, including live Hong Kong pop music, children’s craft workshops, lantern painting and mooncake tasting. 

The festival is set to take place across Merseyway Shopping Centre from the undercover mall to outside Primark, with stalls open from 9am – 5.30pm on Saturday 14th, and 10.30am – 4.30pm on Sunday 15th
