Six people are currently receiving treatment for what is believed to be serious injuries after a car smash in Hollinwood at the M60 junction
Police say Audi A3 car was travelling in the direction of Hollinworth Interchange in Oldham before colliding with traffic lights and coming to a stop on the slip road.
Road closures remained in place this morning whilst officers conducted further enquiries.
Detective Constable Rachael Stafford from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit said; “Since the early hours of this morning we have been investigating this incident to understand fully what has happened that has left two people in currently a serious condition.
“We are interested in speaking to anyone who witnessed the collision or the vehicle in the lead up to this incident, especially if dashcam or CCTV footage from properties is available and were recording at the time to help with our investigation.
