Altrincham MP Sir Graham Brady has been re-elected as the powerful chairman of the 1922 Committee of backbench Conservative MPs
He defeated a challenge from former government minister Heather Wheeler who was thought to be Boris Johnson’s favoured candidate.
Brady has been a constant critic of the Government’s lockdown policy.
