Sale Sharks’ Scottish international winger Arron Reed has committed his long-term future to the club by signing a new three-year contract.
The homegrown 25-year-old joined the Sharks Academy when he was 15 and has gone on to make more than 120 appearances, scoring 36 tries.
Arron played his junior rugby at Tarleton and then Preston Grasshoppers before signing his first professional contract in 2017. He made his Sharks debut later that season against French giants Toulouse in the Challenge Cup.
Arron said: “The club has so much potential to win the biggest trophies and I want to be a big part of that. Doing that with lads I class as my best mates would be so special and I don’t think I could ever have that feeling anywhere else.
“Every day I go into training and I just love it. I’m playing and training with mates who I went to school with and it’s really hard to describe just how good that is. I don’t think many players have that opportunity.
“I grew up in the North West and I watched Sale as a kid and every time I put on that shirt it means so much to me. It was an easy decision to stay.”
