Seven Manchester restaurants have won big at this year’s Deliveroo’s Restaurant of the Year Awards, announced today.
The Northern Quarter’s Get Baked took the top spot for the whole of the North and Midlands, voted as Independent Restaurant of the Year North England and Midlands.
The top eats were decided by 160,000 customer votes, and a judging panel formed by Deliveroo’s CEO and founder, Will Shu; food critic and journalist Jimi Famurewa; and TV Chef and personality Tilly Ramsay.
Other Manchester Restaurants to win in the awards included Burgerism, Best Burger – North England and Midlands and Bundobust,Best Indian & Nepalese – North England and Midlands
Yum Cha won the Best Chinese – North England and Midlands while Ezra & Gil, won Best Coffee & Breakfast – North England and Midlands
The Atlantic Fish Bar won Best Fish & Chips – North England and Midlands and UNAGI was Best Pan Asian – North England and Midlands
