Rochdale’s Martlet Kitchen, is giving away 250 free coffees in support of Brew Monday – but move quickly as, when they’re gone, they’re gone!

Brew Monday – on  20th January – has been set aside by Samaritans charity as a day to catch up with the people you care about over a cuppa! And, for the one day only, The Martlet will be helping locals celebrate their friends and family with the 250 free brews* – which can also include tea and hot chocolate, as well as coffee.

Additionally, if you fancy grabbing some breakfast or brunch, diners can grab a free hot drink with a breakfast main purchase from the menu from 10am-12pm every Monday to– Thursday throughout January**.  Mains include Steak & Eggs, the traditional Full English, Turkish Eggs and even a Bombay Breakfast which features onion bhaji flatbreads and masala oil with fried free range eggs.

The restaurant, which is set inside the neo-gothic Victorian splendour of Rochdale Town Hall, has received recent acclaim for its fine dining menu from nationally renowned food critic Jay Rayner, a well known food critic much loved for his expertise and straight talking restaurant reviews.

The setting is a splendid one, too.  Known as a gothic masterpiece and one of the most lauded architectural gems in the UK, the recently restored Rochdale Town Hall was designed by Victorian architect William H Crossland and opened in 1871. The interior splendour includes hand-painted walls, wood panelled chambers, carved angels and original ornate fireplaces, making it a great backdrop for coffee with friends.

The Martlet Kitchen can be found at Town Hall, The Esplanade, Rochdale, OL16 1AZ. You can find out more about The Martlet here: The Martlet Kitchen – Rochdale Town Hall
