Marks and Spencer has apologised for posting an image from its Christmas advert, filmed in August, that some say resembles a Palestinian flag burning.
The advert featured an image of a roaring fire with paper hats in the green red and gold colours burning
They said the ad, featuring Hannah Waddingham, was filmed in August before the latest conflict began.
‘[Our Christmas advert] showed traditional, festive coloured red, green and silver Christmas paper party hats in a fire grate… we apologise for any unintentional hurt caused.’ said the retailer
