Red Bull Dance Your Style, the biggest street dance battle event in the world, is returning to the UK, and this year it’s bigger than ever with four regional qualifiers and a ground-breaking three-day final event in London.

Evolved outside dance studios on the streets of New York City in the ’70s, street dance is an umbrella term for all the dance styles that have their origins in the streets. Created organically from a community reacting against traditional, high-art dance styles, this form of dance is now commonly seen across the globe adding their own flare to their moves.

The competition will start in Manchester on Friday 10th March at New Century, then onto Glasgow on Saturday 25th March at Platform, off to Birmingham on Saturday 1st April at 7SVN and will kick off the London events with a party on Saturday 29th April at the Red Bull London, Covent Garden.

These Qualifiers will all lead to a three-day dance weekender from 19th – 21st May, which will see London host the UK final at an iconic London location.

The international mixed-style competition celebrates the variety of dance talent across the UK and a dancer’s ability to connect communities. The unique competition also looks to unify dancers and spectators alike through sixteen rounds of freestyle dance which showcase any style from Hip Hop to House, Afro Dance, Locking, Voguing, Krumping and more.

The open qualifiers will be kicking off in Manchester on 10th March at iconic music venue New Century, calling all Mancunian hopefuls for their place in the grand final before moving on to three other UK cities.

Red Bull Dance Your Style is a unique 1-on-1 competition where dancers of all styles battle it out to unexpected tracks from all genres. The aim is for the dancers to impress the audience with their style and spectators have the power to decide who wins.
