A group of protesters in Denton have demanded that Andrew Gwynne step down as an MP following the scandal of the WhatsApp group Trigger Me Timbers
The leaked messages from the group saw him suspended from the Labour Party and sacked as a minister
In one message the Gorton and Denton MP had “joked” he hoped a pensioner constituent who had complained about bin collections died before the next election.
The messages are currently being investigated by Parliament’s standards watchdog.
